ANNUAL PERMITS ON SALE

Policies & Procedures

Permit Parking Areas

University Permits are only available to Northeastern University affiliates with a valid Husky ID Card. All parking is first come, first serve. If a facility is full, you may be redirected to another location. Facilities may be closed for private events, please take note of all signage upon entry.

For all gated facilities, your Husky Card is your primary access credential—simply tap your card on entry and exit. If you pull a ticket to enter the garage, you will be responsible for paying the parking fee. Tickets will NOT be validated with a permit.

Returns, Refunds, Transfers & Exchanges

Annual Permits, Semester Permits, and Monthly Permits are not eligible for returns, refunds, transfers, or exchanges. For additional information, please contact the Customer Service Office.

Overnight Parking

Overnight parking is restricted to the North Lot, Columbus Garage, and Renaissance Park Garage. Cars remaining in the lots without overnight parking permits after the designated closing times may be towed at the owner’s expense.

In order to park your vehicle after 2:00 AM in the facilities mentioned above, your vehicle must display an Overnight Parking Permit. If your vehicle does not display an overnight permit, you may be subject to additional hourly parking fees upon exiting the garage or your vehicle may be towed at the owner’s expense.

MasParc, LAZ Parking and Northeastern University assume NO liability for lost or stolen property or damage to any vehicle while it is parked on campus in one of our facilities. The University does not assume responsibility or liability for any lost property or damage associated with a vehicle being towed. Hours, rules and regulations are subject to change without prior notice. Parking permit must be present at all times.

Snow Emergency Policy for Overnight Permit Holders

When the City of Boston declares a snow emergency, the snow emergency will apply to all holders of overnight parking permits. The declaration of a snow emergency will impact Northeastern University by prohibiting vehicles with overnight permits from parking in any surface lot. During declared snow emergencies, overnight permit holders will be required to move their vehicle to the Renaissance Park Garage and Columbus Garage. The snow emergency policy will remain in effect until lifted by the City of Boston.

The City of Boston announces snow emergencies on all the major radio and television stations in the city. It is the responsibility of overnight permit holders to listen to the major radio and television stations for the announcements whenever snow is expected.  For more information on Snow Emergencies visit the City of Boston website: http://www.cityofboston.gov/snow/

Parking overnight in the Columbus Garage and Renaissance Park Garage is available only to Students, Faculty and Staff whose vehicle displays a valid overnight parking permit.

Vehicles left parked in the surface lots during a declared snow emergency are subject to being towed without warning and at the owner’s expense.
